Matt Reed – Our MC for the night, Matt is a powerhouse on stage with a razor-sharp wit and an uncanny ability to bring the audience into the show. BBC Newcastle called him, “Reason alone to attend a comedy night is having Matt Reed as MC,” while Chortle simply said, “Hard to top.”
Deage Paxton – Co-founder of Dirt Mouth Comedy, Deage has spent over a decade making a name for himself across the UK with his sharp wit and fearless approach to comedy. “Dark, twisty, and hilarious” – Felt Nowt. “Plays with the line before skilfully and happily jumping over it double footed” – Edinburgh Eye.
David Eagle – Award-winning comedian, accordion-wielding maestro, and a Radio 4 regular, David brings surreal, sharp, and endlessly funny tales about navigating life as a blind man. “A comic tour de force” – The Guardian. “David Eagle is the secret to human happiness” – Neurodiverse Review.
Lauren Stone – Described as having “the face of a Victorian lady ghost and the wardrobe of a nice old man,” Lauren brings daft, deadpan gags, surreal flights of fancy, and apologetically delivered filth. Anja Atkinson – Newcastle-based comedian and Dirt Mouth co-founder, Anja’s mix of brutally honest punchlines and filthy wit has seen her win Manchester Comedy Store’s King Gong and feature on BBC Radio 4. “Deliciously devilish” – NARC Magazine.
Shay Raper – The first act in our New Act Spotlight, Shay is a rising star and the winner of Felt Nowt’s New Act of the Year 2024. His affable charm, sharp observations, and anxious overthinking make him a joy to watch. “Genuine belly laughs” – The Northern Echo.
Seymour Mace – Our headliner for the evening, Seymour is an alternative comedy powerhouse. “Seymour Mace has been doing comedy for fucking ages.
