After sold out events in London, Brighton, Nottingham & Coventry, An Afternoon of Indie is coming to The Nightingale to bring the people of Strines...an afternoon of indie

Old School Indie - The indie night for the over 30s are once again joining forces with Feeling Gloomy & Age Against The Machine to bring you a special 3pm-7pm Afternoon of Indie.

We intend this event to be on the outdoor stage. However, with the British weather, we have a contingency to bring it indoors. It might be that certain portions are inside or out, our aim is to keep you dry but have the best shindig we can, and the outside wood space is an awesome place to have a party!

Feeling Gloomy & Old School Indie DJs will be playing a mix of indie classics from across the decades so whether you were an 70s punk, 80s new waver, 90s britpopper or early 00s poser they'll be something for everyone.

And because the party will finish at 7pm, you'll have time to run off for a nice evening stroll, head home for Match of The Day, or you can just hang around at The Nightingale and have a few more drinks.

With a strict door policy of no under 30s (please bring ID) there is no chance of you rubbing shoulders with anyone who can't sing the entire version of Babies or Going Underground.
