Over their 9 year career, Brontide wrapped up several critically acclaimed releasesand toured extensively, playing to captivated audiences around the UK, Europeand US. Their release of'Artery'in 2014 saw them cement themselves as aninfluential band in the post-rock scene, along with wide-spread criticalacclaim.  Clashdescribed the album as"wholly bracing, carefullynuanced"andDIYcalled it"both inherently melodic and genre-spanning".Their farewell show back in 2017 was the perfect celebration of the bandsachievements and saw members go onto incredible roles within music-BassistNathan Fairweatheris a member ofRolo Tomassi, who have become arguablyone of the most unique and influential heavy bands in the UKtoday.  Drummer,William Bowermanwent on to become a musical director and co-founder of WFB Live - the award-winning musical direction company that hasdirected tours and performances for the likes of Post Malone,Dua Lipa,Elton John,Kylie Minogue andBlackpinkto name a few. Finally, GuitaristTim Hancockmoved toLos Angeles where his experience as an educator landed him a role at Fender. Hiswork for their learning platform,Fender Playhas helped millions of new playersbegin a musical journey of their own.However 7 years on, members William Bowerman, Nathan Fairweather and TimHancock are rejoining forces to continue from where they left off. And after acelebratory return at ArcTanGent festivals 10th birthday, the band will be headingout on a short run of shows in May 2025, including Portals Festival in London.
