His debut album Bad With Name was shortlisted for the iconic Mercury Prize in 2024, winning Best Album at the Scottish Jazz Awards, and nominated in three Jazz FM Awards categories. Last year, the band played 75 shows, including We Out Here, North Sea, Montreux, and Cross The Tracks.
Fresh from their first US shows at SXSW 2025, corto.alto has been championed by Gilles Peterson, Jamie Cullum, BBC 6 Music, Jazzwise, and more.
