The Land In Between set for release 3rd Sep 2021 through the iconic Indie label Butterfly Effect on limited edition cream vinyl. The album explores concepts of freedom, liberation and distance, moving between edgy electric tracks to sparse emotive pieces with cello and piano. The fundamental themes that run through this album raise questions about our existence and the relationship we have to the land in which with live. There is beauty, strength and hope to be found inside these 9 songs.

ELAINE PALMER hails from an isolated village up on the North Yorkshire Moors but travels back and forward to her family in Phoenix Arizona. Growing up in an old Watermill in the wilds of Yorkshire Elaine surrounded herself by music, writing songs influenced by her surroundings both in Yorkshire and Arizona.  Elaine has built a reputation for her distinctive voice and emotive mesmerizing stage presence. Elaine has released a handful of records and toured the UK and USA, sharing a stage with the likes of Paolo Nutini, Jonathan Richman, Patty Griffin, Jesca Hoop.

Elaine's music receives great support from radio, Iain Anderson, Eve Blair and Bob Harris all declaring themselves fans with fantastic reviews from MOJO, UNCUT, Maverick, RnR Magazine.

Desert Songs released in 2019 was influenced by her travels in South West America and Mexico featuring MG Boulter on Pedal Steel received great reviews, radio play with BBC national and regional plays, interviews, live sessions and thousands of Spotify plays. Desert Songs was play listed by British Airways on all their flights Worldwide and received masses of airplay from USA stations reaching the Top 10 in the Indie Charts.
