Empyre are on the rise. They signed to the record label Kscope in late 2022, announcing their second electric album ‘Relentless’, follow up to 2019’s Self Aware, will be released in March 31st 2023. Sonically, Empyre perform intense, atmospheric rock, with a dark and introspective edge to their writing. In the words of BBC Introducing their music ranges from “Triumphant, chest beating rock” to more subtle but just as arresting numbers inviting you to do the deepest of soul searching.
They’ve also been described as the love-child of Pink Floyd and Soundgarden. Plaudits have included being awarded a ‘High Hopes’ feature by Classic Rock Magazine, along with winning their “Track Of The Week” on three separate occasions. Kerrang! described their sound as "slick, vast and like the music was written with the help of an architectural blue print for an arena" and Planet Rock heralded the band as ‘Ones to Watch’.
