The acclaimed Everything Everything - an evening of stories and songs, with BBC Radio 6 Music's Chris Hawkins, Thursday 1st May at hmv Empire.
Q&A-Sides gets fans up close with their favourite artists. Chris has a unique ability to connect with artists and engage with audiences.
Q&A-Sides provides a special behind-the-scenes look into artists’ inspirations, creative processes, and career journey. As one of the UK’s most successful bands, Everything Everything combine intelligent (and often cryptic) lyrics with a genre-defying sound. This is a fantastic, rare opportunity to hear lead singer Jonathan and guitarist Alex share stories and perform acoustically live.
Chris Hawkins says, "I’m thrilled to be hosting Q&A-Sides with Everything Everything. I love them. No-one else sounds like Everything Everything! This will be a big deep dive into their world and rare opportunity to experience a completely stripped back performance by them."
Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. Seated show. Doors open 7PM, show starts at 8PM.
EVERYTHING EVERYTHING
-
PRAISE FOR ‘MOUNTAINHEAD’:
“Astounding. A special record from a special band.” – RECORD COLLECTOR ★★★★★
“It’s the best concept album you will hear all year about a subjugated society…if everything’s going to shit then bangers are
what we need.” - THE LINE OF BEST FIT ★★★★
‘’Their unparalleled ability to create albums that are both sonically thrilling and deeply intelligent is reinforced with this
release.’’ - DORK ★★★★
‘Soundscapes so rich and immersive’ – THE ARTS DESK ★★★★
“Engaging the head, the heart and the feet isn’t as easy as it sounds, although EE make it seem just that.” – THE TIMES
“The most weirdly moving band in British indie.” – THE GUARDIAN
“They manage to twist incongruous reference points into music that is catchy and immediate despite its inherent weirdness.
It’s the quartet’s ongoing defining characteristic.” – ROLLING STONE UK
2024 has been a stellar year for Everything Everything. Their earworm infectious high-concept art pop reached a new
high as ‘Mountainhead’ became their sixth consecutive UK Top 10 album, while the single ‘Cold Reactor’ secured its
place as one of their biggest streaming and airplay hits with support from Radio 1 and 6 Music. They also continued to
attract a devoted following at live shows, with a sold-out UK headline tour followed by a co-headline tour of Australia
with The Vaccines and festival dates including Radio 1’s Big Weekend, All Points East and a headline set at Future
Now.
But there’s still more to come from Everything Everything before the year is out, with today’s confirmation of a fresh
UK headline tour that commences in November.
Everything Everything commented ‘’After such an enjoyable sold-out tour in the Spring, we wanted to take this album
round some other UK destinations, including a few we haven’t played for over a decade. Come join us, you’re a
Mountainhead too.”
