FLORENCE BLACK [Planet Rock, Best New Band 2022] are a powerhouse Welsh rock trio—Tristan Thomas (vocals/guitar), Jordan Evans (bass), and Perry Davies (drums)—hailing from Merthyr Tydfi l, South Wales.

Since the release of their debut album Weight of the World in 2021, which landed at #6 on the Offi cial UK Rock and Metal Chart, the band has been touring relentlessly. More recently, they hit Download Festival (2024), toured with Massive Wagons (2024), headlined Planet Rock’s Winter’s End Festival (2025), and supported Tremonti on their European tour (2025).

Returning to Long Wave Recording Studio with Romesh Dodangoda, the band recorded their highly anticipated second album, Bed of Nails, released on February 2, 2024. The record debuted at #1 on the Offi cial UK Albums Chart, with singles Start Again and Don’t Hold Me Down gaining heavy airplay on Planet Rock and BBC Radio 1’s Introducing Rock Show.

Now, FLORENCE BLACK is gearing up for their biggest year yet, with a headline tour set for September 2025 and their third studio album on the horizon.
