Brooklyn-born and South London-based, Goya Gumbani connects the UK's new generation of neo-soul and jazz with East-Coast hip-hop storytelling.
A savant of London's underground scene, his brand of free-flowing lyricism and hazy, laidback, soulful hip-hop has resulted in collaborations with artist such Yaya Bey, Joe Armon-Jones, Joy Orbison, Lord Apex, The Silhouettes Project, Pink Siifu, John Glacier, Lex Amor and more, on top of his already prolific output of albums, EPs, and mixtapes.
Joined onstage by alternative RnB vocalist TYSON, and indie-rock, and 60s and 70s soul influenced rapper Brian Nasty, this is set to be an evening of the best new music.
“Gumbani is helping to revive and reimagine the city’s boom-bap legacy" - CRACK
“spoken word reminiscent of ’90s hip-hop greats and South London’s vibrant music scene” - NME
