Formed of eleven songs, Serenity, Now marks the first time that Coulter and Tullett have worked with an external producer – either together or apart – with the pair turning to producer Ali Chant (PJ Harvey, Aldous Harding, Dry Cleaning) to oversee their latest work. The result is something both more ambitious and expansive than has come before, an album that takes elements of their previous work and reshapes them into something vivid and beautifully colourful.

Serenity, Now was borne of reconnection, of restoring a kinship that had been muddied by time and circumstance. Melodically rich and sonically euphoric, it often feels like a new journey with an old friend; a harnessing of strengths to create something far greater than the sum of its parts.
