HANK WANGFORD brings the BIG BASS COMBO to Green Note for an Americana July 4th celebration. Spanner Robinson's gorgeous vocal tones and twin bass locked into Lord Kevin Foster's bass, Mike 'El Picko' Pickering pushing them forward with his masterly snare drum and Hank's miserable songs some classics from the Wangford Hall of Pain, some form his recent albums Holey Holey and Promises Promises and some so new they've not been recorded yet are all joined by dobro wizard Noel 'The Dash' Dashwood.
 
A heady brew of ballads and Honky Tonk, toetappers and heartbreakers. And we'll all sing Hank's new love song to the NHS - NHS Our Precious Thing - currently released digitally and available on all streaming platforms.
