Hejira is a 7-piece band dedicated to celebrating the masterpiece works of Joni Mitchell, particularly from her late '70s "jazz period." This era includes iconic albums such as The Hissing of Summer Lawns, Hejira, Don Juan's Reckless Daughter, and Mingus. Joni Mitchell briefly toured with an elite band of contemporary jazz musicians, resulting in the outstanding live album Shadows and Light, which serves as the foundation for Hejira’s repertoire.
