Jocasta is dead. That much she knows.

She now stands at the gates of the Underworld, seeking safe passage from the judgmental and impatient Gods. But there is a fee for this, and Jocasta must pay for it with her story.

She weaves her way through bad marriages, cursed births and tragic deaths, but her debt is still not settled. When the tale turns to a passionate love affair with a much younger man,  Jocasta must face a final unsettling truth or risk her eternal life.

Jocasta is a new dark comedy inspired by the classic Oedipus Rex. Fiercely witty and dramatic, this is the Greek tragedy as you’ve never seen it before – told by a voice silenced until now.
