    Kelsy Karter & The Heroines

    Rock & Roll

Kelsy Karter & The Heroines is an Aussie/British rock & roll band with global success, whose debut album “Missing Person” was critically acclaimed and athrilling introduction to this four-piece known best for their unique songwriting, electric live experience and theatrics on and off the stage.Kelsy Karter, who grew up as a theatre kid in Australia, fronts the band while drummer Sebastian Boyse, guitarist Matt Peach and bassist Tommy Gent all grew uptogether in Derby, England.

Karter has garnered a reputation for having a rebellious approach to building her band’s profile by breaking moulds, creating opportunities and having genius marketing and creative strategies on a budget of almost nothing.TIME magazine compared her to Ozzy Osbourne and Alice Cooper when she used social media as a tool to prank the world for the promotion of their hit “Harry”. With her polarizing persona, Kelsy is no stranger to online hate, which she finds every opportunity to capitalize on both online & on stage, using her fearlessness to speak out on bullying, self expression and the art of not giving a f*ck.

The band’s social media presence spanning over 800k, consists of their stellar live performances, comedy skits, touring anecdotes and self help adviceled by the potty-mouthed but sincere Kelsy Karter, proving this act is more than just a band. They’re a whole damn circus.

The Heroines have spent the past few years touring the world as headliners, support acts and festivals including Billy Idol, The Struts, The Hunna, PalayeRoyale, Anti-Flag, Black Stone Cherry, Download Festival, Rock Werchter, Rock For People and more. Rolling Stone Magazine named their debut album“Missing Person” as THE album they recommended in the November 2020 print issue, calling Kelsy a “beacon for female rockstars”, highlighting their song“God Knows I’ve Tried”. The Foo Fighters also loved this song so much it was one of the handful of songs that they claimed inspired their 2021 record“Medicine At Midnight”.

In January 2024, Kelsy Karter & The Heroines won theSpirit Award at the 12th Annual She Rocks Awards, recognizing Kelsy as a woman of great influence inthe rock n roll music scene today. The Heroines have been signed to Monster Energy Music since 2021.

They are currently getting ready to release their second album - LOVE MADE ME DO IT - which has been described by the band as an electric and emotional adventure. Their guitar-drenched sound steeps in elements of glam rock and 80s punk that has a sonic aesthetic both undeniably timeless and entirely of-the-moment. 2025 world tour is to follow the album release.
