    Singer-Songwriter

Belfast based Alt Indie singer-songwriter Lucy Gaffney’s solo career began in 2020 and has already seen her touring with acts such as Bill Ryder-Jones, The Coral, Sorcha Richardson, Snow Patrol, Inhaler and DMA’s.  Lucy’s debut singles ‘Can’t Escape’ and ‘Send Me Away’ were produced by The Coral’s frontman James Skelly and immediately caught the attention of Ireland’s most influential, with Hot Press Magazine saying Lucy Gaffney “has emerged as one of the country’s most promising indie-pop prospects” and the iconic Liam Gallagher calling her music “Celestial”.

In 2021 Lucy collaborated with Bill Ryder-Jones and Emmy Award winning English composer Michael Price who asked her to perform a duet alongside Ryder-Jones on their reimagining of ‘In Spite Of The Weather’, a song that encapsulates the beguiling subtle tones of the Celtic broken beauty in Lucy’s Irish voice.  In 2022 she released her acclaimed debut EP ‘Easy Come Easy Go’ which was recorded at home with her brother in their then Liverpool apartment.

In 2023 Lucy Gaffney released her second EP ‘Daydream In Tokyo’ produced by renowned London based producer Duncan Mills.  Hot Press Magazine commented on the title track single saying “the Belfast singer has justifiably been compared to Phoebe Bridgers and is another indie pop superstar waiting to happen” and BBC Radio 1’s Gemma Bradley saying “what Lucy does as an artist is truly amazing and each song is just getting stronger and stronger”.
