"A masterful fusion of live musicianship and electronic production" – Jazzwise
A full-circle moment. 25 years ago, pioneer of the broken beat and jazz scene, Mark de Clive-Lowe, launched his debut album Six Degrees, perceived as "awesome and genius", here at The Jazz Cafe.
Now, a quarter-century later, Mark returns to our stage for a one-night-only anniversary celebration.
Effortlessly bridging the worlds of jazz, beats and dance floor culture, Six Degrees set the tone for Mark’s genre-defying career, earning acclaim from tastemakers and pioneers alike.
For this anniversary performance, he is joined by one of the most electrifying rhythm makers of his generation - Myele Manzanza. With deep grooves and boundless creativity, Manzanza will elevate this reimagining of Six Degrees to new heights.
