Hailing from London, this five-piece band brings together individuals from diverse musical backgrounds. Drawing inspiration from the influential trip-hop scene in Bristol (Massive Attack and Portishead), as well as the dreamy landscapes of Californian indie music (Warpaint), MASIBA skilfully balances tight grooves with eerie melodies. This eclectic group are crafting a sound that whispers of nostalgia while simultaneously creating something fresh and new.

Evie is a jazz vocalist and songwriter who grew up in the Lake District, and now lives in London studying Jazz at the Guildhall School of Music. Her vocal style has been likened to Norah Jones or Eloise, but her solo work blends the beauty and narrative of folk songwriting with jazz. She is influenced by great American songwriters such as Joni Mitchell and Carole King, but also distinctive British songwriters like Labi Siffre and Nick Drake.
