Nick Costley-White is one of the most in demand jazz guitarists in the UK, renowned for a deep understanding of the jazz tradition, alongside a virtuosic technique and progressive approach to improvising.
Nick is a London based jazz guitarist and composer who has performed all around the world in clubs including Ronnie Scott’s, Duc Des Lombards (Paris), Blue Note (Milan, Shanghai & Beijing) A-Trane (Berlin), Unterfhart (Munich), Gregory’s (Rome), Nardis (Istanbul) and Schloss Elmau (Krun).
Nick has released two albums to date: Detour Ahead and Nice Work! Nick is due to release his 3rd album “Poncha” in 2025 featuring entirely original compositions in an all star line up with Julian Siegel on saxophone, James Maddren on drums and Conor Chaplin on double bass.
Nick has performed with some of the most renowned jazz musicians in the UK including Stan Sulzmann, Gareth Lockrane, Jason Rebello, Ivo Neame, Kit Downes Alex Garnett, Mark Taylor, Steve Fishwick and Jeff Williams and holds the guitar chair with the London Jazz Orchestra.
