PARLAY
Parlay are coming back to fully release their EP in the venue that started it all for them. Comprised of four friends with a massive creative output, the group began while the two leads, Stan and Oscar, worked at the Troubadour. Performing under the name Six Foot Spoons they quickly filled out their ranks and grew into themselves as the Troubadour house band.
Now two years later, with a new name, Parlay find themselves once again under their old roof, this time on a streak of sold out shows around London and celebrating the launch of their new EP, ‘Where the Night Goes’. If you’re a fan of The Police, Supertramp, Cage the Elephant, or Fontaines D.C buy your tickets now for an incredible night.
LEO WALRUS + BAND
Leo Walrus is a singer-songwriter with pop sensibilities and an ear for melody straight from the hazy 1960s. Influences can be seen and heard; Lou Reed and Angel Olsen swim in a giant eclectic pool alongside the likes of Nick Drake and Steve Lacy. The world Leo Walrus inhabits is full of hope; often bittersweet, but full of hope nonetheless. It is also a world of mystery to be investigated, enjoyed, and shared.
Greene is the project of Singer/Songwriter Joseph (Joe) Anderton. A former member of various band lineups, and frequent collaborator with artists as a songwriter, producer and multi instrumentalist, Greene channels Anderton's love for pop melodies and rich harmony. Lyrical, Anderton can be tongue in cheek and witty, but beyond this lies a more introspective take on topics. Currently operating out of London, UK, Anderton is proud of his Essex/Irish roots. For Greene, Anderton draws on acts such as Big Star, Tom Petty & The Coral to name a few. Whilst lyrically drawing comparisons to Loudon Wainwright III.
TOMMY RODGER
Tommy Rodger is a man of style. A handmade fresh take on an old-school storyteller sound.
Born and raised South West London.
He writes to be honest, even when he lies.
