London-based soulful pop indie artist, Purdy Smith, fuses a beautiful blend of catchy
melodies and honest storytelling that will move and inspire your spirit. Her debut EP
delves deeper into the theme of personal growth, exploring stories of struggle and
vulnerability that ultimately lead to breaking down barriers and venturing into new
landscapes of resilience and hope. It celebrates the robust and evolving nature of
the human spirit and the power of compassion and empathy.
Purdy’s sound draws inspiration from artists like Lianne La Havas, Yebba, Cleo Sol,
and Emily King. Her emotive voice and soulful indie influences create a striking,
cathartic, and thoughtful sound. As an emerging independent artist, Purdy will be
performing across London in the upcoming months, so keep an eye out for her
captivating performances.

Karis’ candid and vulnerable approach to lyricism paired with classic yet intricate vocal
melodies create a familiar soundscape, but with a charming, youthful flair. Drawing
inspiration from artists who embrace raw and intimate lyricism, Karis exudes a style
reminiscent of acclaimed musicians such as Taylor Swift, Lorde, Gracie Abrams, and Griff.
January 2024 saw the release of her debut single ‘Learning To Hate Me’, which had its first play on BBC Introducing’s Track Of The Day. The ballad has also had support from Amazing Radio across the UK & US.

Rae Zoe is an actress, director and poet. She is the founder of Up next a company
dedicated to offer a platform and performance opportunities for up-and-coming artists as
well as run creative, life enhancing programs in half terms and summer holidays for
young people. In everything Rae does she aims to platform and empower those around
her - a heart for stories to be told and voices to be heard. Rae is currently rehearsing for
a play that will have a run in Theatre Peckham in January.

Originating from Southwest London with a heart and soul from her roots in Jamaica, represents the voice of Maia Reid. I'm a lover of reggae, culture and music my sound is an ode to the spirit and love spread throughout reggae and Jamaican music. My sound and soul connects to the everyday experiences of being a young black woman in London mixed with the essence of the island. A breath of fresh air like the ocean waves and the feeling you get after the first bite of a cheesy beef patty in coco bread. Music is connection, music is love, music is energy. I hope to be a vessel in my own capacity to make people continue to feel this way about it.
