This spring, father and son kora duo Suntou and Mamudou Susso bring the sounds of West Africa to our stage, blending rhythmic grooves and rich melodies with deep family tradition.
 
Kora master Mamudou has spent decades sharing Gambian music worldwide, including with the legendary Ifang Bondi. His son, rising star and brother of “The Jimi Hendrix of the Kora” Seckou Keita, Suntou, is following in his footsteps, bringing fresh energy to this rich musical heritage.
 
Together, they celebrate the music and stories passed down through Gambian generations.
