About

Talkline represents the musical collaboration between vocalist and vibraphone player Amy Hollingsworth and pianist Will Hobson.

Amy and Will began working on original music together in 2021, however their friendship spans over a decade. These years of shared experiences have culminated in a sound that blurs the lines between jazz, singer-songwriter and minimalism, inspired by artists from Seafarers to Nick Drake and Steve Reich.

In November 2023, Talkline were given the opportunity to record at Abbey Road Studios, and the band returned in January 2024 to finish off work on their debut EP, which is out now on all platforms!

This EP has had features on playlists, local radio and beyond, including support from Tina Edwards, BBC Introducing, and SWR2 in Germany.
