It’s about time Coventry hosted their very own nights to shine BLXCK voices in the West Midlands. Style the Culture is honoured to partner up with The Tin Music and Arts for our annual event “the ‘real’ BLXCK voices of Cov” hosted by alternative recording artists KIMBERLXY and Nyotaa, singers and songwriters from Coventry. 

Artist KIMBERLXY, founded STC (styletheculture) based on this very reason. Giving a platform to underground artists of ethnic minorities and Black origin; appreciating the music they make - acknowledging how black creatives impact everything from music to fashion and is forever embedded within us. 

Established in January of this year, we hope to take these events and expand from appreciating our music to our art, fashion and many more! 

Recording Artist Nyotaa heads back home to Coventry after forming her artistry in London with her debut album “twentyoneandlost” and annual music event “secret location with nyotaa” under Kamona Records 

On our very first pilot, the night will be full of outstanding vocals and poets from our local community to showcase what Coventry is really about musically, all based at the Tin Community Space, from alternative RnB and hip hop to soul rock and pop, KIMBERLXY and Nyotaa gather their community to embrace culture, break barriers and create a home for rising BLXCK artists.
