    The Virginmarys

    Alternative Rock

The Virginmarys are a British rock band known for their energetic and raw sound which
blends elements of punk, grunge, and alternative rock. Formed in Macclesfield, England, by
Ally Dickaty and Danny Dolan, the band initially gained prominence in 2013 with their debut
album "King of Conflict", which debuted #3 on the Billboard New Artist Alternative Chart
and #8 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart. They have brought their highly charged live
show extensively throughout the UK, Europe, USA, and Japan, supporting artists such as
Queens of the Stone Age, Shinedown, Slash and the Sisters Of Mercy.
Their music is characterised by powerful guitar riffs, vigorous drumming, and emotive, gritty
vocals, often featuring thought-provoking and passionate lyrics, tackling personal struggles
to social and political themes. Their sound, both melodic and aggressive, has a sense of
rebellion and sincerity that resonates with their audience. This combination of hard-hitting
music and meaningful lyrics has earned them a dedicated fan base and critical acclaim in the
rock music scene. 2024 will see the release of a brand new studio album supported by a full
    UK & European headline tour.
