About
Tom McCredie returns to the Vortex for a deeply personal performance, bringing together a band shaped by years of shared history and musical growth. Having played the venue many times over the years with artists such as Rob Luft and the late, great Keith Tippett, this special evening sees Tom drawing on long-standing friendships and cherished compositions to create something truly meaningful.

This project is a celebration of collaboration, memory, and the emotional power of music. The band features close friends and trusted musical companions—players who have grown up together on the bandstand, forming bonds through countless gigs and shared creative journeys. Expect a set of moving, emotionally resonant music that reflects the depth of those connections and the spirit of a community that has shaped Tom’s musical life.
