With songs like ‘A Long Walk’, ‘The Way’ and ‘Getting’ In The Way’, the album was met with widespread praise, solidifying Scott’s place in the music industry.

Considered a classic in the neo-soul genre Who Is Jill Scott? has influenced many artists and has contributed to the revival of RnB in the early 2000s.
