Naomi in Blue is a British-Chilean musician whose authentic artistry blends powerful vocals and cinematic soundscapes. Since her debut EP in 2021, Naomi has been meticulously crafting dynamic live shows, leading to her biggest gig to date in the summer of 2024 when she headlined a historic theatre in Mexico City – a stage graced by Patti Smith just months prior. Remarkably, this booking was all based on a small support slot at a gig in Shoreditch, after she was seen by a Mexican promoter who was so moved by her performance.
Naomi in Blue's latest EP delves into raw themes, such as harassment and the aftermath of betrayal. It’s a deeply personal work that speaks to resilience and hope. She blends influences of the roots songwriting from her Chilean heritage — inspired by the activism of Nueva Canción — with the DIY alternative scene of London. This fusion of cultures and experiences creates a sound and lyrical depth that is both unique and profoundly moving. Her project is a provocative exploration of feminism and identity through sounds of psych/alt indie, all in a shade of blue.
